You can enjoy a number of the Slovenian beaches on your holiday. The first beach is 12km from our facility and is free of charge throughout the summer season. On the way to the beach you can walk through the old town of Koper, which used to be an island. Koper has won numerous awards, including for the most beautiful and the most hospitable major city, as well as for the cruise port with the best destination experience, and for the safest city in Slovenia.
From Koper, you can continue your route towards Izola, an old fishing town and for a short while the home of Casanova. Or you could discover Piran and be charmed by the Venetian architecture and the famous violinist, Tartini's music.
You could also sail the Slovenian seas with the typical and symbolic Istrian boat – BATANA. The most common boat of the Istrian coast was irreplaceable to the Istrians and often created a livelihood for them. The Istrian Batana is a simple boat which has (or doesn't have) one sail and an almost flat keel. It is more often than not less than 6 metres long and is meant for individual inshore fishing. Today, Batana are used for touristic purposes. For more information please contact us.
An unforgettable experience is also a visit to the Sečovlje saltmarshes, where the 100 year tradition of producing salt is preserved as well as the Fonda fish farm, where they raise the top quality Piran sea bass. An educational, useful and fun trip!
