In rural Slovenian Istria, 15 minutes drive from the centre of Koper, is the Kozlovič family’s tourist accommodation. Set in a peaceful location in the middle of the countryside, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding nature. We are located 310m above sea level, which on clear days allows you to see the Julian Alps, the Dolomites as well as the Slovenian peaks.
Pri Kapelci is a hamlet of the Istrian village Truške. It got its name in the year 1900 when the church dedicated to Saint Mary was built. However, there were never any settlers here until the Kozlovič family built the first house here. Despite the strong Burja wind which blows especially in winter time, Mama Zvezdana fell in love with the fantastic view.
We did not have to move far, our old house was located just a few kilometres away in another hamlet of Truške, Jurasi. Our family roots are based in this area. Our surname Kozlovič is a typical surname for Istria, we are very proud of its origins –it is associated with people who persevere and have the will to live in places which others consider uninhabitable. Today, Truške is a peaceful village which is steadily coming back to life and attracting increased tourist activity.
We happily welcome you to our area, and will help you in any way we can to make your getaway unforgettable.
